Why I'm going to be drunk tonight

I sent my friend out to buy beer. Well, he was going out to the store so I gave him money for beer. What do I get in return?... 16 ounce beers. I am a woman who takes my own coozie to festivals, parties, etc. I like cold beer. So now I have to drink fast so my 16 ounces don't get too warm before I get to finish it. Then I'm going to the Georgia Theatre in Athens for the Drivin' n' Cryin' concert where the draft beer seems to get people twice as drunk as usual. And since bars don't recycle, I tend to buy draft beer (although thinking about it, that's probably irrelevant since I'm sure the Theatre uses plastic cups anyway). Regardless, a sober night seems not to be in the horizon for me. I guess I just need one last "fling" before my students arrive on Monday. Twenty-one ten year olds will tend to drive one to drink... heavily.

that's so WEIRD...ten twenty-one-year-olds drive me to drink...heavily

And though I haven't met your man, you seriously need to rethink this relationship if he returns with just sixteen ounces of frosty malt beverage...just sayin'

16 oz beers are not only an incredible value, but they are classy. They stand out as unique eccentrics in the sea of 12 oz conformity. They are also called "da poundas" in Cheektawauga speak. As in, I'll take a beef on weck, a single orda of da hot wings and a coupla genny poundas.
